Doing nothing, watching TV Listening to Little Stevie Wonder where you are tonight? Letters I could never give her, Signed, sealed and undelivered. Wonder where you are tonight? Should I get a map of Africa? Or track the atlas, front to back? And start up my investigation Just to find your new location Wonder where you are tonight? Blame each other, blame the weather. If it falls apart we fall together. Wonder where you are tonight? Are you hiding in the Eastern Bloc? Or laying low in Little Rock? Or in the outback, way down under? It fascinates me, fills me with this, Wonder where you are tonight? That's right, I wonder where you are tonight? Sometimes I wonder where you are. And it's hard enough to find myself, Let alone to look for someone else. But I'm feeling sorry for myself. And I wonder where you are, Tonight. Cross my path You cross my mind Cross my heart I hope to find you Wonder where you are tonight? Wonder where you are tonight? Wonder where you are tonight? Wonder where you are?

Digging up the rocks and bones. Have you met the Piltdown Man? You should see him when you can. And his prehistoric band, The Rocks & Bones. Well there's Grunt and then there's Grok. Playing lead and rhythm rock. But you shouldn't get them talking Sticks and stones. Digging up the rocks and bones. Digging up the rocks and bones. Digging up the rocks and bones. They're a proud and hairy bunch. And you know, I've got a hunch, There'll be dinosaur for lunch Please come and see! See the cave, it's like a mall! Deep and wide but not so tall. And everyone's neanderthal, But that's okay. Digging up the rocks and bones. Digging up the rocks and bones. Digging up the rocks and bones. Digging up the rocks and bones. No we're not where you'd expect us. When you're walking so erectus But then, no one would suspect us Out this way. Digging up the rocks and bones. Digging up the rocks and bones. Digging up the rocks and bones. Digging up the rocks and bones. Dig away now. Go prehistoric on me. Dig, dig, dig, dig, away. All the rocks and bones.

It's raining, it's pouring Your old man is snoring So why don't you come out and play With me? He's not dreaming of you. I bet he doesn't love you. So why don't you come out and play With me? Come play with me. Play with fire. With the warm fluorescent passion of desire. Oh I can see your secret smile 'Cause he has paid attention In a long, long while. He loves you, then leaves you. I know how that grieves you So why don't you come out and play With me? Why don't you come out and play With me? If you're happy and you know it, Clap your hands. But the sound of one hand clapping Is too much for you to stand. If you're happy and you know it, Think again. 'Cause I can't stand seeing girls like you With those kinds of men. It's raining, it's pouring Your old man is boring. So why don't you come out and play With me? Why don't you come out and play With me? Why don't you come out and play With me?

I've had this dream before I recognize the signs along the highway But I don't know what it means When I'm standing in Las Vegas Singing "My Way" And I've felt this way before. Calling on my senses. And I'm knocking on your door. Losing my defenses. I've played this game before. I've memorized the rules and regulations. But I've never kept the score. When I'm sorting out the praise and accusations. And I've felt this way before. Calling on my senses. And I'm knocking on your door. Losing my defenses. And I've felt this way before. Calling on my senses. And I'm knocking on your door. Losing my defenses. And I've felt this way I can't look away Something grabs a hold of me Something like a memory And memory, it serves me well Only hope I live to tell 'Cause all I ever seem to see Are feelings that I used to feel before. Feelings that I used to feel before. Calling on my senses and I've Felt this way before. Calling on my senses. And I'm knocking on your door. Losing my defenses.

How was I to know that she was serious? So mysteriously out there on a limb. All the while she's acting so delirious. So mysteriously out there looking in. She's got time. Hills to climb. And she might just fall off the beaten path. But once you fall forward, You don't fall back. And Rome wasn't built in a daydream. It took years and years of fighting just to make it true. Half the time, I can't believe in anything. There's so many things pretending to be true. Any little word could mean so many things. Almost anything could change your point of view. Take your time. You'll be fine. 'Cause you can't plant seed in the neutral ground. And no one's gonna hear if you don't make a sound. And Rome wasn't built in a daydream. It took years and years of fighting just to make it true. And you know things aren't always what they seem. But it seems to me it's all the same to you. How was I to know that she was serious? So mysteriously out there... Rome wasn't built in a daydream. But the things that we believe aren't always true. But it seems to me it's all the same to you.

She always seemed the girl most likely to succeed. But she made some bad decisions on the way. The fork in the road was a knife in her back. So she curls her lip and smiles it all away. And everyday, they try to bring her down. Every day it's the same. It's the same 'cause... She wants what everyone wants Everyday she wants tomorrow. She wants what everyone wants Everyday she wants tomorrow. If I could reach her would I open up my heart? I can almost hear the things that I would say. If she had a problem, Would I help her sort it out? But I wonder would I just get in her way? And everyday, they try to bring her down. Every day it's the same. It's the same 'cause... She wants what everyone wants Everyday she wants tomorrow. She wants what everyone wants Everyday she wants tomorrow. She wants what everyone wants Everyday she wants tomorrow. She wants what everyone wants Everyday she wants tomorrow. Tomorrow put your dreams You won't need them anyway She's a million miles away In the safety of tomorrow.

Why is it so easy to believe, In the same old things that always, Bring you down? They're pushing you around And round we go until we drop. 'Til you go so fast you don't know, When to stop. And you just can't turn it off. And it's always in the morning, When you find out it's too late. And it's always in the morning, When the morning comes too late. When the morning comes... It's easy to accept the hand of fate, When it's coming down to slap you, In the face. You lose another. Racing with the rats along the way. It's the same old race in reruns every day. And it never goes away. And it's always in the morning, When the sun breaks through your eyes. And the daylight steals your fantasies, But you don't even realize. 'Til the morning The morning. Why is it so easy to collapse, When the future plans to keep you, In the past? But the future's fading fast. It's always in the morning, When you find out it's too late. And it's always in the morning, And it's always in the morning, When you find out it's too late. And it's always in the morning, When the morning comes too late. When the morning comes too late.

All my songs begin with She S and H followed by E. All my thoughts begin with Her H and E followed by R. R we ever going to B, H-A-P-P-Y happy? I got her letter yesterday I can get letter get away I'll letter B, I'll letter C, I see she's F-R-double E. C and R followed by Y Don't know why she makes me cry. A-E-I-O-U a debt, 'Cause I lost the alphabet. She sends me letters And I throw them in the air. She sends me letters But they're landing here and there. Happy birthday sweet sixteen, For the umpteenth time I've seen. As that scene becomes a play As adapted for the screen But I can't screen the scenes I've seen 'Cause I don't know what they mean. A questionnaire I sent my love, She answered "None of the above." She sends me letters And I throw them in the air. She sends me letters But they're landing here and there. She sends me letters And I think it's going well. She sends me letters But she's got me in her spell. All my songs begin with She S and H followed by E. All my thoughts begin with Her H and E followed by R.

I don't want it "all or nothing" But do you mean to be strong? Even if it's all or everything, Words come out. Come out all wrong. So let's reduce it to a hush. The words we say don't say enough. Let's reduce it to a hush. I can't find a fault to speak of. Saying more, meaning less. Failing to evoke a feeling. Sparks that fly from someone else. So let's reduce it to a hush. The words we say don't say enough. Let's reduce it to a... Shout and you know they're gonna shout right back! Scream 'til it hurts so much you have to laugh! It hurts too much. Silence is the loudest feeling. Let's reduce it to a hush. The words we say don't say enough. Let's reduce it to a hush. The words we say don't say enough, no. Let's reduce it to a hush.

Seasons come and go, And leave their dead leaves in the snow. She is still here. She is constant. Houses may burn down, And leave their ashes on the ground. But she is still here. She is constant. And when the sun goes down, The stars fill the night, And out comes the moon. And when the moon is full, From eating the stars, It goes back to its room. Ripples turn to waves, The way that parties turn to raves. She is still here. She is constant. Every word I say, Just gets right up and flies away. She is still here She is constant. And when the sun goes down, The stars fill the night, And out comes the moon. And when the moon is full, From eating the stars, It goes back to its room. Back down here on Earth, I'll stay with her, for what it's worth. Day after day, I know it's not her name, But I just call her "constant" Anyway. Back down here on Earth, I'll stay with her, for what it's worth. Day after day, I know it's not her name, But I just call her "constant" Anyway. She is constant. Houses may burn down... Seasons come and go... She is constant.

about

This is the first official digital reissue of The Gravelberrys 1993 release, Bowl Of Globes, this edition adds three additional "bonus tracks" recorded by Gravelberrys leader Paul Myers shortly after the band dissolved in 1995. These songs were intended for the never-released second album.

The Gravelberrys were a Toronto, Canada based pop rock band who toured their native land on the heels of the college rock single "Wonder Where You Are Tonight".

Bowl Of Globes (Plus) was co-produced, engineered and mixed by legendary Canadian indie rock producer Michael Phillip Wojewoda, and features generous contributions from some the best musicians from Toronto and Vancouver.

The album was dedicated to Paul's father, the late Eric Myers (1922-1991).
